Recreational Licencing

You have just opened up a new world of adventure.

Your Recreational pilot's Licence will give you access to the Light Sports Aircraft industry.

From the age of 15 you can apply for and achieve a Recreational Licence to fly an aircraft up to a maximum take off weight of 600 kg.

The only medical requirement is that you have the capacity to hold a drivers licence.

These are not ultra light category aircraft and every hour you fly a light sport aircraft you appreciate the simplicity of flight.

New rulings have allowed 750 hours of the 1500 hours required for an Airline Transport Licence can be counted in a light sport aircraft.

Once you have completed your 25 hour course and passed your flight test you are welcome to hire an aircraft and fly around Australia if you wish.
